Terms of use
Last updated: 7 August 2026
1. Scope and acceptance
These terms govern access to and use of the website lyluutravel.fr and the Lyluutravel mobile app, together "the Services", published by Lyluu Travel (see the legal notice).
By browsing the site, creating an account or making a purchase, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Services.
2. What the Services offer
Lyluutravel gives you access to:
- Excursions and local experiences bookable online. Lyluu Travel acts as an introducer to independent local guides and providers, who deliver the service themselves.
- Digital travel guides sold as PDFs, available from your account once paid for.
- Travel notebooks and itineraries available from your personal area.
- Free editorial content: blog articles, good deals, local contacts, frequently asked questions.
- A bespoke trip service and a contact form.
These services change over time: Lyluu Travel may add to them, alter them or withdraw them, without this giving rise to any compensation.
3. User account
Browsing the site is open to all. An account is needed to reach your purchases, your bookings and your travel notebooks.
You undertake to give accurate information, to keep your login details confidential and to tell us about any unauthorised use of your account. You are responsible for what is done from your account.
You can delete your account at any time from your settings. What deletion entails is set out in the privacy policy.
4. Booking excursions
Excursion bookings are governed by the booking terms and conditions, which prevail over these terms on everything they cover: booking fee, confirmation by the provider, cancellation and liability.
5. Buying digital guides
Prices are shown in euros, including tax where applicable. Payment is handled securely by Stripe; Lyluu Travel stores no bank details.
The guide is made available in your personal area as soon as payment is approved. As this is digital content supplied without a physical medium, whose delivery begins on payment with your express consent, the right of withdrawal does not apply once the guide has been made available, in accordance with article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code.
A guide you have bought stays available from your account. If you have any trouble reaching it, write to us at contact@lyluutravel.fr.
6. Reviews and user content
After an excursion or the purchase of a guide, you may be invited to leave a review. You undertake to post an honest review, based on a real experience, and not to include insulting, defamatory or discriminatory remarks, nor other people's personal data.
Reviews are moderated before publication. Lyluu Travel may refuse or take down a review that does not follow these rules, without that refusal amounting to censorship of the opinion expressed. By posting a review, you allow Lyluu Travel to reproduce it on the site and in the app, along with your first name and the initial of your surname.
7. Acceptable use
You undertake not to:
- disrupt how the Services run, or try to access them without permission;
- extract content in bulk or automatically, in particular by scraping or harvesting;
- impersonate someone else, or create accounts for fraudulent purposes;
- use the Services for unlawful purposes or in ways contrary to these terms.
Where these rules are broken, Lyluu Travel may suspend or close the account concerned, having told its holder except in an emergency or where the law requires otherwise.
8. Intellectual property
All content in the Services, in particular text, photographs, illustrations, logos, itineraries and travel guides, is protected and remains the property of Lyluu Travel, unless stated otherwise.
Buying a digital guide gives you a personal, non-exclusive right to use it. It does not allow you to resell it, distribute it, share it publicly, or exploit its content commercially.
9. Availability and changes
Lyluu Travel does everything it can to keep the Services available, without being bound by an obligation to achieve that result. Access may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or because a technical provider fails.
The Services rely on third parties, in particular Stripe for payment, Vercel and Supabase for hosting, and Google services for some internal tools. If those third parties are unavailable, the Services may be affected.
10. Liability
Practical information published in the Services, in particular opening times, prices, addresses and access conditions, is given for guidance and may change. It is up to you to check it before you travel.
Excursions are carried out under the responsibility of the local providers, on the terms set out in the booking terms and conditions.
It is up to you to hold suitable travel insurance and the travel documents required, and to find out about the formalities and health requirements of your destination.
Nothing in these terms excludes Lyluu Travel's liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or for personal injury, nor the legal guarantees owed to consumers.
11. Personal data
How your data is handled is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
12. Changes to these terms
Lyluu Travel may change these terms, in particular to take account of legal developments or new services. The version that applies is the one published on this page on the date you use the Services; the date of the last update appears at the top of the page. For purchases and bookings, the version that applies is the one in force when the order was placed.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. If something goes wrong, contact us first at contact@lyluutravel.fr: we undertake to look for an amicable solution.
Failing agreement, consumers may refer the matter free of charge to a consumer ombudsman. The details of the competent ombudsman are given on request at the address above. Failing an amicable settlement, the French courts have jurisdiction.
14. Contact
For any question about these terms: contact@lyluutravel.fr.
