🇲🇦 An epic road trip in Morocco: from the imperial cities to the dunes of the Sahara

✨ The challenge: taming the road for a first touring trip

For his baptism of fire on a road trip, Thierry wanted to cross Morocco without going through the usual tourist circuits. The task was to build a smooth itinerary, from picking the car up in Fez to dropping it off in Marrakech, while including spectacular and safe stops for a first experience of driving abroad.

🏜️ The standout stages of the journey

• Fez and Merzouga: after the buzz of the Fez souks, off to the gates of the Sahara. Nights on the edge of the dunes, with quad bike outings and the Milky Way overhead. 🌌

• The Dades Gorges and Tinghir: a crossing of magnificent rocky landscapes, between green oases and red limestone cliffs. 🏔️

• Ouarzazate and Aït Ben Haddou: a dive into history and cinema. Thierry walked the real sets of Gladiator and Game of Thrones, a high point for someone who loves the big screen. 🎬

• Marrakech: a perfect sensory finish, between the bustle of Jemaa el-Fna square and the complete calm of a traditional hammam at the end of the stay. 🧖‍♂️
