Head out at dawn with Rian to meet sea turtles in their natural habitat, on a private snorkelling trip around the Gili Islands. Over four hours, explore the famous underwater statues, colourful reefs and waters full of tropical fish. You leave directly from the island where you are staying (Gili Meno, Gili Trawangan or Gili Air) for a privileged experience, as close as it gets to the wonders below the surface.
The experience
The trip begins at 6am, so you can enjoy the spots in peace before the other boats arrive.
Rian picks you up directly on the island where you are staying, whether that is Gili Meno, Gili Trawangan or Gili Air. This outing is entirely private, for a calmer and more personal experience.
Over roughly four hours, Rian will take you to several of the Gili Islands' best-known spots:
the famous underwater statues;
areas rich in tropical fish;
coral reefs;
spots known for sea turtle sightings.
Snorkelling equipment, life jackets and mineral water are included. Rian also uses a GoPro to take underwater photos and videos during the trip.

Important information
Departure is at 6am, directly from the island where you are staying: Gili Meno, Gili Trawangan or Gili Air. The trip lasts around four hours and takes place on a private boat for two people. The programme may be adjusted slightly depending on the weather, the state of the sea and visibility. Sightings of marine life can never be guaranteed, as the animals move freely in their natural environment.
Recommendations
Remember to bring: your swimsuit; a towel; sun cream, ideally reef-safe; sunglasses; a hat or cap; dry clothes for afterwards. I also suggest having a light breakfast before you leave, and arriving at the meeting point a few minutes early.

How do I get my booking confirmation?
As soon as the payment goes through, a confirmation email is sent automatically. It contains your booking reference, the full summary (date, option, travellers), the meeting point and the departure time. You will also find your booking in your account. Do check your spam folder if nothing seems to arrive.
Is the provider told about my booking?
Yes, automatically. As soon as the payment goes through, the local provider is contacted directly with your whole booking: date, time, chosen option, number of travellers, your name and your pick-up point. There is nothing for you to do. Their WhatsApp is in your confirmation email, so you can write to them before the day itself.
Is paying online secure?
Yes. Payments go through Stripe, one of the most widely used payment platforms in the world. Your card details never pass through the Lyluutravel site and are never stored there. Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted.
